First, we present the background that allows us to identify the gap in the study of topics related to the training of those who teach in ETP. Then, we contextualize what was a policy of initial and in-service teacher training with particular characteristics: the Technical-Professional Education Teaching Program concurrent with basic qualifications. We are interested in presenting this training experience, which was pioneering in the history of teacher training in the province of Santa Fe (2010-2019) and which is worth highlighting 20 years after the enactment of Law No. 26,058, which promoted major changes in technical schools. In the post-neoliberal context, the rule of law strengthened the training of those who teach in this modality of the educational system, guaranteeing the right to higher education. Finally, we leave open some questions that are  redefined by the current underfunding of public policies and the shifting role of the state. Este artículo se conforma a partir de los aportes de una investigación cualitativa y exploratoria que tuvo como principal propósito contribuir a la producción de conocimientos en un campo poco explorado en la modalidad técnico profesional: la formación docente. En primer lugar, exponemos los antecedentes que nos permiten identificar la vacancia en el estudio de los temas vinculados a la formación de quienes enseñan en la ETP. Luego contextualizamos lo que fue una política de formación docente inicial y en servicio, de particulares características: el Profesorado de Educación Técnico Profesional en concurrencia con los títulos de base. Nos interesa dar a conocer esta experiencia formativa que fue pionera en la historia de la formación docente en la provincia de Santa Fe (2010-2019) y que cabe visibilizar a 20 años de la sanción de la Ley n° 26.058 que promovió grandes cambios en las escuelas técnicas. Bajo el contexto posneoliberal, el Estado de derecho fortaleció la formación de quienes enseñan en esta modalidad del sistema educativo, garantizando el derecho a la educación superior. Finalmente, dejamos abiertos algunos interrogantes que se resignifican ante el actual desfinanciamiento de las políticas públicas y de corrimiento del rol del estado.
