| Sumario: | This work recovers the experience of silkworm breeding, carried out by the weavers of Santa Gertrudis (Ancasti, Catamarca), in a context marked by the progress of lithium extraction projects. We reflect on local knowledge and practices, in contrast to the logic promoted by companies and governments. In this sense, we observe how the “development” of the proposal is reconfigured into a "sustainable" version that promotes the "energy transition", materialized in new business ventures that advance at the expense of the sacrifice of the territories of the peasant communities. But they organize to resist in various ways. |
