| Sumario: | In this article, we aim to study the political dynamics of conservation in the Acambuco Provincial Reserve, located in the northern region of Salta Province. Through an ethnographic approach, we will examine the conflicting relationships that arise among the local population, conservation managers, and the hydrocarbon companies operating within the protected area. In this regard, we will provide a historical account of the territorial configuration processes and conflicts that have emerged in recent years.
The obtained results are related to the identification and historical contextualization of conflicts arising from antagonistic territorial claims, ontological differences, access to resources, residential issues, as well as conflicts resulting from flexible accumulation processes and dispossession. |
