| Sumario: | In this article we present some considerations on the "doing" of those of us who take the discipline itself as an object. Particularly, we wonder how and through what prisms we look at (and, at the same act, we build) what we understand as our object of study. We take our own research experiences in Andean ethnohistory and medical anthropology as our starting point, and we focus on how we establish the spatial and temporal coordinates of our inquiries and on the sources of information and the categories used. We suggest that a problematization of these elements enriches the view and enables specific contributions to the challenges involved in the study of the developments of anthropology in our country, particularly we seek to contribute to the construction of a shared discussion scenario. |
