| Sumario: | The proposal of this work is to understand the way in which circus artivist performance, in contexts of feminist protest, constitutes a ritual of transition towards a feminist identity; transforming the physical force of individual circus bodies into an intersubjective symbolic force and producing assemblages and collective consciousness. Transversally, two axes of analysis intersect: artivist performance as a multisensory ritual aesthetic and political act and gender performativity as a mechanism for the production of sex-gender identities. I propose an analytical-methodological exercise(Rodriguez, 2012) that allows deepening the effectiveness of artivist performances, taking into account the specificity of circus practices, and the context of feminist struggle in which they are situated, to produce transformations in subjectivities. and gendered bodies.
