Sumario:In the present work, from a decolonial perspective and from an essayistic style, we propose a reflection on what we call “erotic coloniality”. We are interested in intertwining philosophical thought, the study of the ways of the modes of coloniality and the sensitive resistances that reveal a long genealogy of multiple violences on the ways of life in Latin America. Our contribution in this brief article is situated from a decolonizing perspective of the modes of capture and production of desire and corporalities, in the aim of extending and communicating the power of decolonial philosophical thought, as an exercise of resistance to the diverse wefts in which the modern-colonial imaginary is woven, in relation to the way of understanding the nature of desire and its expressions. Finally, we postulate the notion of “re-existence” as a necessary expression for the exercise of these insurgent decolonizing positions.
