The present article looks into the manners in which these searches can be read without the use of the autobiographic registry while trying to emphasize on the forms in which the stories build complex notions of lineage, travel, origin, which can be read as powerful motifs on a narrative peace of work that dramatizes issues strongly related to contemporary literature’s themes. Las novelas Poste restante (2001) y Ramal (2011) de la escritora chilena Cynthia Rimsky ponen en escena una serie de búsquedas que giran alrededor de los orígenes familiares y que hacen uso de un archivo personal contundente. El presente artículo indaga los modos en que esas búsquedas pueden ser leídas por fuera del registro de lo autobiográfico, procurando hacer énfasis en las formas en que las narraciones construyen nociones complejas de linaje, viaje, origen, que pueden ser leídas como motivos potentes de una obra que pone en escena preocupaciones fuertemente relacionadas con las problemáticas de cierta literatura actual.
