Sumario:Poste restante (2001) and Ramal (2011), novels written by Chilean author Cynthia Rimsky, dramatize a series of searches involving family origins and use a forceful personal archive. The present article looks into the manners in which these searches can be read without the use of the autobiographic registry while trying to emphasize on the forms in which the stories build complex notions of lineage, travel, origin, which can be read as powerful motifs on a narrative peace of work that dramatizes issues strongly related to contemporary literature’s themes.
