The paper analyzes the figuration of objects in the story “Como una cabeza enloquecida vaciada de su contenido” (La vida interior de las plantas de interior 2013) by Patricio Pron, in order to think about materiality, the affective dimension of objects, the entity of waste and different temporal scales. I propose that this story by Pron articulates a counter-narrative that makes visible the current fetishism of the ecological crisis and waste and makes it possible to perceive the temporality of the Anthropocene through its textual procedures. Este artículo se focaliza en la intersección contemporánea entre catástrofe ecológica, crisis de lo humano y nuevos materialismos en el contexto de la era del Antropoceno. El trabajo analiza la figuración de los objetos en el cuento “Como una cabeza enloquecida vaciada de su contenido” (La vida interior de las plantas de interior 2013) de Patricio Pron, para pensar la materialidad, la dimensión afectiva de los objetos, la entidad de los desechos y diferentes escalas temporales. Propongo que este cuento de Pron articula un contra-relato que visibiliza el fetichismo actual de la crisis ecológica y los desechos y posibilita percibir la temporalidad del Antropoceno a través de sus procedimientos textuales.
