| Sumario: | This article focuses on the contemporary intersection between ecological catastrophe, the crisis of the human and new materialisms in the context of the Anthropocene Epoch. The paper analyzes the figuration of objects in the story “Como una cabeza enloquecida vaciada de su contenido” (La vida interior de las plantas de interior 2013) by Patricio Pron, in order to think about materiality, the affective dimension of objects, the entity of waste and different temporal scales. I propose that this story by Pron articulates a counter-narrative that makes visible the current fetishism of the ecological crisis and waste and makes it possible to perceive the temporality of the Anthropocene through its textual procedures. |
