| Sumario: | This essay is intended as a speculative exercise from some theses of Giorgio Agamben on the zôe and bíos, but regarding sex and gender, respectively, and particularly some controversial aspects of the question of sovereignty and domination once laws on equal marriage and gender identity have been enacted in Argentina. Based on the television series produced by Presidency of the Nation in Argentina, the essay focuses on some situations that allow discussion of the way biopolitical strategies and heteronormativity are activated by the Nation-Estate. |
