Based on the studying of the journal Crítica y Utopía, the aim of this article is to ponder the way the theoretical and political reflection in communication and cultural studies contributed to renovate a political speech that pursued to set the new democracy order in the center of the debate. Este artículo tiene como objetivo examinar las transformaciones al interior del campo de estudios de comunicación y cultura durante el período de la llamada transición democrática en Argentina, entre finales de la década del setenta y principios de la década del ochenta.
