| Sumario: | This study explores the type of bond in the social support network with which the rela-tionship is more difficult according to age group and gender, and the type of experien-ces associated with that relationship. A descriptive study of transversal non-experimen-tal design was carried out, using mixed methods. We interviewed 100 people between 20 and 90 years old, from the city of Mar del Plata. The Structured Interview of Social Support Sources and a semi-directed interview were administered. The results showed that the difficult bonds are also the closest, evidence an ambivalent nature and they respond to normative changes typical of each life stage. It is expected that these results provide useful information for theoretical and applied issues. |
