This work seeks to analyze NATO's geopolitical positioning against Russia in the Mediterranean Sea between 2014-2015. For this, the strategies related to maximizing power and deterrent balance among the actors in question will be taken as a reference. A partir de la intervención rusa en la crisis de Crimea y la suspensión de las relaciones con la Organización del Tratado del Atlántico Norte (OTAN) en 2014, las imágenes de la guerra fría se volvieron a plasmar con una tensión política y militar en grandes espacios territoriales y marítimos entre ambos actores.Este trabajo busca analizar el posicionamiento geopolítico de la OTAN frente Rusia en el Mar Mediterráneo entre el 2014-2015. Para ello se tomarán como referencia las estrategias relacionadas a la maximización de poder y balance disuasorio entre los actores en cuestión.
