Sumario:The aim of this work is to present an analysis of the context of the socalled "crisis of globalization". Globalization is understood as a process that takes place due to the combination of an economictechnological component, as well as a political-ideological-institutional dimension; and that it periodically becomes in crisis. Is the 2016’s crisis different from the previous ones? What is it that it comes into crisis around the development of phenomena such as the election of Donald Trump, in the US, or the Brexit? What are its implications? From an analysis of the literature that deals with the concept of "globalization crisis", and from the empirical testing of its indicators, the aim is to elucidate whether it is a crisis in globalization or a crisis of globalization.
