| Sumario: | Currently, Havana is the capital of Latin America that has more African embassies. The presence of these diplomatic representations demonstrates the vitality of relations between Cuba and Africa. In spite of the geographical distance and the economic limitations of the Cuban State, the Caribbean regime was able to consolidate its relations with the African continent. This paper analyzes the nature and content of these relationships. The objective is to consider the elements that favored cooperation and the perspectives of cooperation in the light of a possible normalization of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States. |
