| Sumario: | The present work analysis cultural policies in Rosario City, emphasizing characteristics assumed by the process of institutionalization of public areas related to culture and the role played by key actors of cultural action. We point out the creation of the first cultural area; the democratic transition with the emergence of new units and the process of political and administrative decentralization with its cultural correlate. We also observe the entanglement between the State and the voluntary creation movements that mark the configuration of the cultural field of the city. |
