| Sumario: | he article explores the role of gender violence and militarism in shaping the territories of the Andean Triple-border-Area (between Chile, Peru and Bolivia) after the Pacific War (1879-1883), focusing particularly on the localities of Arica (Chile) and Tacna (Peru). The study was carried out based on a methodology the state-of-the-art review, though which we analyzed more than 70 historiographic, anthropological, political and sociological texts. We seek, with this exercise, to contribute to the de-visibility of the importance of Peruvian women as subjects of construction of these borders |
