| Sumario: | This research analyzed the relationships between expert knowledge, rehabilitation practices, and autonomy in contemporary capitalism, drawing on the Bobath Concept in Rosario and Santa Fe, Argentina (2018–2023). Treatments, the subjective traits they produce, and the new emerging rehabilitation institutions were explored. Using a sociological approach and hermeneutic perspective, documentary analysis, participant observation, and interviews were used. The notion of individual autonomy, understood as motor integration, was questioned in light of the contemporary demands of post-Fordist capitalism. |
