| Sumario: | In this article we propose an anthropological analysis of certain fictional and non-fictional narratives of contemporary native writers belonging to various indigenous peoples of the Americas. We argue that their productions constitute ‘creative detours’ (sensu Catrileo, 2019) in the face of the identity traps of ethnicity and gender, constitute powerful gateways to other anthropologies made of porous boundaries, fluid identities, constitutive alterities and person-bodies that, like the indigenous writings we present, are also composed of heterogeneous elements and diverse origins |
