| Sumario: | In this article we analyze the experiences of care performed by children in an impoverished neighborhood in the city of Villa María (Córdoba, Argentina), from the perspective of childhood social studies. Methodologically we base our work on the data produced trough ethnographic field work and semi-structured interviews conducted with girls and boys. The results indicate that care practices and relationships deployed by the children configure meticulous, precise and essential action repertoires for their life trajectories, are also significant for their families and are markedly diverse depending upon age, gender and forms of belonging. |
