| Sumario: | This paper aims to analyze how institutional requirements and emotional assessments impact the daily practice of a civil team that specializes in mental health within a federal maximum security prison in the Argentine Republic. To this end, this paper delves into the admission stage, where health professionals decide whether to include typified inmates who suffer from a mental condition in their psychiatric devices in order to account for the factors that exceed the disciplinary criteria and define the relationship between psychiatric-therapeutic and penitentiary logics. |
