| Sumario: | This article presents a state-of-the-art review of journalistic reception studies on social media in Brazil, based on publications from the Compós annals between 2020 and 2024. A total of 49 studies were analyzed, categorized into three axes — reception, news, and social media— considering titles, abstracts, and keywords, with the support of data visualization tools. The results indicate theconsolidation of reception as a theoretical core, the growing interest in social media as a research object, and the emergence of integrated approaches in recent studies.
