| Sumario: | This paper was written with the aim of starting tothink about certain characteristics concerning presentsocieties – technical and technological changes –which appear to actors taking part in the process asrelevant traces of the growing social, economic andpolitical transformations. In this way, during the lastthree decades, certain key concepts are trying to fitintoa unified view of the technological-communicativephenomena.Some questions orienting this work are: ¿Can weassert the beginning of a new paradigm? ¿Which areits main characteristics? ¿Does the orthodox sciencebelieve in these works? ¿If these are visions sharedby groups of investigators belonging to differentdisciplines of social sciences, is it possible we arewitnessing a new scientific revolution of the standardscience? Thus, this reflection upon the changestowards a new technological paradigm encompassesthe dissimilar views of writers like Thomas Khun inhis book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions andManuel Castells Information Age book 1 : The Rise ofthe Network Society. |
