Sumario:Within the scope of journalism theories, this article investigates the hegemonic media news predilection for facts marked by the categories of deviation and social prominence, in order to place the information agenda in theterritoryofeverydaylife. Sincetheoreticalintersectionscarried out withsociology, philosophyandhistory, it reflectsontherhythmofdays as a constructofmeaningsandresistance, intimateand social, ofordinarypeople. FromaninterpretiveanalysisofreportsbythecatalanBruRovira, aboutelders intheGothicquarterof Barcelona, published in thejournalLa Vanguardia, thisstudy shows thearticulationofnarrativecrossedbytheprotagonismofanonymouscharacters.As a resultofthestudy, weproposethematrixofunhappenings as news as a narrativestrategyorientedtothedailylivesofordinarymenandwomen, in ordertoinscribe a differentjournalisticprocess, in termsofcriteriaandnarrativetechniques, sincesuch a scopecanonlybemadepossiblebythearticulationofanethosthatisdifferentfromthe professional culture.
