| Sumario: | The objective of this paper is to identify and characterize the different economic shocks that the Rosario Region has experienced in the last 30 years. The aim is to find out if the area has been more resistant than the nation in the face of shocks and if it was stronger in its recovery. One of the main findings was that the Rosario Region tended to be weak in the face of each shock but strong in its recovery. However, during the last crisis of 2017/20, which includes the period of the COVID pandemic, this configuration changed, possibly influenced by the economic structure of the area. |
