He addresses what this means as an element for the development of cultural tourism and the risks derived from it. The aims of this interview are to disseminate the new concept; and, to know its state of consolidation, its value for the development of more sustainable urban environments and, in that sense, the current challenges from the disciplinary point of view. Castillo Ruiz is a key referent in the subject due to his professional history; his contribution to the theoretical and normative frameworks as well as his extensive and committed dissemination work are highlighted. Esta conversación con José Castillo Ruiz cabalga el camino de la configuración del patrimonio agrario como bien cultural, reconociendo el valor del conjunto de bienes vinculados a la actividad agraria. Atraviesa distintas aristas del proceso, desde su inicio hasta la situación actual, haciendo foco en los desafíos para la planificación urbana y las administraciones públicas en distintos contextos. Analiza su significado como elemento para el desarrollo de turismo cultural y los riesgos derivados de ello. El objetivo de esta entrevista es divulgar el nuevo concepto, conocer su estado de consolidación y su valor para el desarrollo de escenarios urbanos más sostenibles y, en ese sentido, los desafíos actuales desde el hacer disciplinar. Castillo Ruiz es una referencia clave en el tema por su trayectoria, destacando su aporte a la construcción teórica y normativa, así como su extenso y comprometido trabajo en la divulgación.
