Sumario:The aim of this paper is to explore the relations between text genres and types of discourse inside the socio-discursive interactionism framework. In this paper conclusions of an empirical research based on a text corpus produced in European Portuguese are presented. Here I analyse the linguistic characteristics of the interactive discourse in five different text genres: the radio interview (oral), the magazine interview (written), the horoscope, the cooking recipe, and the meteorological bulletin.
