Sumario:This paper analyses the extent of the social and political-institutional crisis that accompanied the collapse of the Argentine economy at the end of 2001, the path towards social pacification and institutional normalization, Néstor Kirchner´s government, and the beginning of Cristina Kirchner’s administration.
