Sumario:In the context of a larger, ongoing research proyect centered on the image of Japan in Argentine literature, this article aims to incorporate texts belonging to different literary genres published in the last five years: short stories, novels, journals and travel narratives. An imagological analysis reveals the traditional lines for the cultural representation of the "exotic" as well as novelties, anchored in the contemporary status of the texts and in the singularity of these Argentine writers.
