| Sumario: | The main proposal of this article is to investigate how the newspaper El Zonda served as a receiving element of the political and ideological postulates of the Generation of 37 within San Juan. As we seek to demonstrate, in the territory of San Juan, the source in question meant the first experience of public dissemination of the novelties that arrived from Buenos Aires in the 1830s. The object will be developed through a brief review of the actions of the young people of the 37 in the province of Cuyo to, in a second instance, examine the intellectual precepts spread through El Zonda. |
