Sumario:This paper focuses on Carlos Ludovico Ceriotto (Mendoza, Argentina, 1928-1973) who taught Introduction to Philosophy and History of Contemporary Philosophy at the National University of Cuyo. In his short but fertile life he was interested in Phenomenology, Hermeneutics, Psychoanalysis and Existentialism. The content is presented in three sections followed by the conclusion. The approach was to examine the development of his line of thought and to focus on his main research areas. Beyond his writings, Ceriotto was a prominent professor, passionately devoted to his classes at the University. Due to his dedication, all students remember his enthusiastic discussions. For some of them they elicited a vocation that endured the rest of their lives.
