Sumario:At almost a century from the historiographic revolution when the Annales school played a leading role, the extreme fragmentation of history, the return to narration and event, invite us to reflect on our own present day history.  This cognitive exercise, just like in the Annales times, demands us to approach the emerging topics from an interdisciplinary point of view and, just like in 1929, to open up to new heuristic concepts in order to consider the relation of individuals to history, time and space.
