No todo era viña, no todo es viña de Matías José Esteves ofrece un análisis integral del cinturón verde de Mendoza, destacando patrimonios “modestos” vinculados a horticultura, fruticultura y otras actividades no vitivinícolas. Combina revisión histórica, análisis arquitectónico y relevamiento de campo con entrevistas, generando un inventario de 248 bienes. El libro articula historia, arquitectura, producción agrícola y planificación territorial bajo un enfoque interdisciplinario, mostrando cómo el patrimonio puede ser herramienta de desarrollo sostenible, turismo responsable y gestión territorial. Propone al cinturón verde como un “paisaje vivo” y constituye un recurso valioso para investigadores, planificadores, gestores culturales y actores locales, incentivando además la continuidad de investigaciones para ampliar el inventario patrimonial.
