Sumario:The objective of this study was to analyze and document the perception of microenterprise owners from Paraguay in order to understand the implications of the preventive measures adopted by the government to face the spread of covid-19. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with owners and managers of microenterprises from various economic sectors, including service, trade and industry, from several regions of the country. The results indicate that, while most participants agree with the preventive measures, they state that they are not in condition to sustain these measures for a prolonged period of time. This shows the urgent situation of microentrepreneurs, who will have to adapt in order to overcome this crisis, and the need for an urgent response from the government to ensure the survival of these organizations. Keywords: microenterprises, covid-19, crisis, mitigation
