Sumario:A series of short stories written by Marco Denevi under the title of Falsificaciones is analysed in this paper from the transtextual approach proposed by Genette. It is intended to observe the hipertextual modifications imprinted by the author to works belonging, not only to universal literature but also to other artistic manifestations. The ultimate purpose is to encourage potential readers to manage the literary work (a rather hard aim due to the current editorial offer) and, in the teaching field to stimulate the reading in high school because Falsificaciones is less familiar than Rosaura a las diez or Ceremonia secreta among readers, editors and educational institutions. It is also intended to demarcate some explanatory reasons for this situation.
