Sumario:This paper studies Argentinian playwriting produced by Postdictatorship generations and observes some manifestations of new subjectivities related to the traumatic past and the topic of social memory. After a summary of the emerging theatrical phenomena during the period, the Postdictatorship generations are described using tools provided by critical readings about new narratives. Establishing dialogue between rather isolated fields of knowledge (the researches on theatre and narratives), this paper attempts to contribute towards an interlinked comprehension of diverging literary practices carried out by these generations. Despite some differences in the development of generational consciousness, it can be stated that narrative and dramatic works produced by the Postdictatorship generations share very similar features.
