Sumario:During the last twenty years, the Spanish Civilian War has been the topic of many literary and historic texts which captured the interest of all Spanish society. Writers, editors and public prove that the facts happened more than half a century ago still are a powerful motivation for research and creation. It does not mean that nothing was written till the decade of the nineties, but the attention upon the topic, especially in the literary field, had declined due to the tendency to leave behind a subject that was dominant in narrative, dramatic and poetic works through many decades. The purpose of this revision is to explain the literary, political and ideological reasons for this phenomenon.
