Sumario:The teaching, use and command of drawing were fundamental in modern and contemporary Sevillian fine arts. Fortunately, in recent years, our research on such matters has allowed us to discover models of diverse nature and chronology. They usually belong to private collections where acces is difficult and restricted. That circumstance highlights the importance of these findings, sometimes random and unforeseen. In this article six drawings ares introduced. They were drawn by two outstanding sevillian artists who lived between the 19th and 20th century. We refer to the painter José Arpa Perea and sketcher Luis Cáceres Valdivia. We have selected these authors for having a similar first artistic training, for working at the same time and, above all, for the different way of tackleing and resolving the practice of drawing due to they each were specialized in a different discipline. Analysis and comparison of his works reveal suggestive and varied panorama of sevillian drawing at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of next century.
