| Sumario: | The Church of Loreto, today the Cathedral of the Province of Mendoza, constitutes a historical and cultural bastion of the Province. It has been the axis around which a series of milestones and related events were developed together with the tradition and the cult of a community that consecrated it as the fundamental temple of its history. Headquarters of the first seminar in Mendoza, its location, its architecture and its artistic heritage, it is a site of great interest for the development and cultural activity of the Mendoza community from its founding to the present. The work shows the historical-artistic research carried out on the 'Mother Church' that showed a cultural-patrimonial treasure witness of an initial and foundational time for our community full of expressions that are the sustenance of the history of our Province and bastion of the profound religiosity that characterizes its people. |
