| Sumario: | Nowadays, the need to establish systems of accreditation and assurance of educational quality for online educational programs is widely recognized. In addition, it is found that the instruments and mechanisms currently used to evaluate do not provide a thorough evaluation and, consequently, they fail to accredit these new modalities structured under new paradigms. As this regard, it is important that contemporary Higher Education ensures the quality of these practices. Thus, this paper analyzes models and instruments used worldwide to evaluate the educational practices of online programs, and based on the contribution of key referents, proposes a high-quality evaluation model to optimize them. The proposed model not only considers the different backgrounds and contexts of the institutions that may implement it, but also attends to the standards established internationally. |
