Assuming criticism as an affective attitude and thought device that is instantiated in images in a perspective that owes much to Walter Benjamin, these pages will occasionally refer to the film The Commune by Peter Watkins (La Commune, Paris 1871, 2000) to anchor the inquiry into critical images with the aim of aspiring to a kind of epistemocriticism of the image. A partir de los desarrollos de Georges Didi-Huberman de los últimos años en torno a la sublevación, sus gestos y la articulación entre poder e impoder, este artículo explora tres figuraciones de la crítica: la imaginación, el aura y el par sueño/despertar. Asumiendo a la crítica como actitud afectiva y dispositivo de pensamiento que se instancia en imágenes en una perspectiva que debe mucho al pensamiento de Walter Benjamin, se referirá ocasionalmente al film La comuna de Peter Watkins (La Commune, París 1871, 2000) para anclar la indagación en imágenes críticas con el objetivo de aspirar a una suerte de epistemocrítica de la imagen.
