Sumario:The objective of this article is to characterize and reflect on the capacities and institutional profiles of scientific-technological linkage deployed by medium-sized universities in the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. From a comparative perspective, the internal elements linked to the internal organization of the function (structures, norms, orientation, binding practices, etc.) and the contextual aspects that configure the binding policies of university studies are identified. This qualitative study will allow us to know the status of the scientific-technological link in the development of this function in universities established in different territorial registries and with different institutional trajectories of the Province of Buenos Aires and the profiles that prevail in each one. institution. Within this framework, similarities can be observed in terms of the internal organization of this function, but differences with respect to the profiles of scientific-technological determining factors according to orientation, context and origin of university studies. In relation to this, it will be possible to observe the coexistence of two profiles and/or models of scientific-technological linkage: a traditional profile associated with companies (traditional model); a socio-productive profile (which includes different social actors).
