Sumario:In Argentina, the Higher Education Law (LES) N° 24521 of 1995 is not only a normative framework, but also, in some sense, a statement of academic policies for the university system. This statement can be exemplified in several of the articles, which, beyond the law itself, have defined policies that led to other regulations, a set of Resolutions and Provisions, which have a high degree of incidence on the academic policies of the system. In the first part of this article, these policies are succinctly presented, referencing them in the corresponding regulations. In the second part, and in the post-pandemic scenario that questions us above all in the ideas of time, space and collective construction, some challenges are posed that, in the set of academic policies, we understand that we must face in pursuit of continuing to guarantee citizenship rights.
