| Sumario: | This article presents the results of field and laboratory work, as well as the enhancement of the archaeological heritage of the Reserva Provincial Laguna Negra in the city of Tolhuin, Tierra del Fuego. This project was carried out in conjunction with Secretaría de Ambiente, Ministerio de Producción y Ambiente, Gobierno de Tierra del Fuego, and is responsible for the Sistema Provincial de Áreas Naturales Protegidas. The research allowed the identification of material sets on the surface and in excavation, comparable with other archaeological sites identified in the area from the late Holocene. Transfer tasks included the installation of archaeological window in the excavation area, featuring tools and replicas of the recovered materials, the creation of informative signage on archaeology and heritage care, and the development of audiovisual content on the lifestyles of the populations that inhabited the area, with digital access via QR codes available on the signage installed in the reserve. The relevance of projects that connect us with government agencies lies in the collaboration to identify and enhance the value of cultural heritage and generate proposals that contribute to the tourism value of the area, benefiting economic and social development. |
