Sumario:This paper examines the process of women’s incorporation into archaeological work in Ecuador. In order to maintain a chronological order, a classification is proposed, along with the main characteristics that allow for the proposal of each of the time segments. During the study of this process, Resfa Parducci Zevallos was identified as the first Ecuadorian archaeologist. Therefore, we present a profile that highlights her contributions, work, and publications.
