| Sumario: | Tito del Valle, situated in the middle section of a network of ravines connecting areas with various extensively studied archaeological sites, is the focus of this study. The research integrates the analysis of artifact assemblages and geoarchaeology to understand the distribution, potential chronologies, and formation processes of the archaeological record at this surface site. The objectives include evaluating the technological assemblages and micro-scale environmental events at Tito del Valle and discussing its occupational history, linking this sector of the Blanco ravine basin with known cultural sequences in the area. Tito del Valle is a noteworthy case in regional archaeology, providing novel insights into the regional lithic resource base, depositional environments, and artifact assemblages in the middle basin of Blanco ravine. It is interpreted as a locus of diverse activities with a prolonged occupational sequence, likely representing a superposition of recurrent camps for rock and water procurement in a strategically located middle section of the ravines system connecting localities such as Piedra Museo and La Primavera with Los Toldos or Aguada del Cuero. |
