Sumario:In general terms, the question about the phantasy in psychosis is usually quickly dispatched from a purely deficient perspective, either in absolute terms (there is no phantasy) or relative (something about the phantasy that does not go around in psychosis). Here I propose to address the particularity of the phantasy in the subjective economy of psychosis, highlighting not so much a difference in nature, much less a defect, but above all a difference in functioning. For this, a counterpoint will be made with the notion of phantasy in neurosis, extracting from there the structure that corresponds to the phantasy in psychosis, both at the level of its libidinal organization, as with regard to the subject position, the structure of the script, and the articulation with reality. Only in this way can the transstructural character that corresponds to the phantasy by definition be recovered.
