Sumario:This article talks about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which appears as a response to the social and environmental crisis, and the concern of some companies to overcome these crises. CSR in itself it constitutes a series of laws and norms applied to the companies, those who seek the economic, social and environmental well-being of a community or a group of people. The main objective is to understand what CSR is about and how companies should implement it to be more competitive. The article begins by defining what CSR is, taking the point of view of different authors. Then it establishes how interest groups or stakeholders influence the strategies or policies that companies carry out to implement laws or regulations. Finally, it is indicated how the companies that implement CSR can become competitive.
