| Sumario: | Establishing a dialogue with different debates that the feminist movements in Argentina have put forward in recent years, there has been an emergence of cinematographic productions that bare in common the fact that they explore an aesthetic of sexuality that breaks with the classic structures of visual pleasure in cinema. In the present article, we intend to advance in the analysis of two deeply different films, with heterogeneous circulation contexts. Despite their differences, we argue, they share the problematization of the construction of erotic visual narratives as one of their main features. Two main problems will guide the study of the films Desearás al hombre de tu hermana (2017) y Las hijas del fuego (2018), their aesthetic construction and the role that the idea of what is ‘natural’ has in the sexual experience, with the intention of recognizing the main features of the films’ discourse regarding female pleasure.
